Join us for Speak Out Superior 2012 as we meet at 4:00 pm for some free food courtesy of the the UWS BBQ Club at UWS parking lot 2 (behind Burger King). Free Parking!
We will then march to the Douglas County Courthouse at 4:30 where we’ll gather to hear the stories of survivors and those who are working to end sexual violence in our community.
The opening ceremony and Speak Out at the Courthouse begin at 5pm. Invite your friends and family to share in this community wide event!

CASDA advocates and volunteers will be collecting donations outside of Wal-Mart, located at 3801 Tower Ave. in Superior, WI on April 12th – April 14th during the hours of 1:00pm – 5:00pm. The items that the shelter is in most need of include: household cleaners, toilet paper, bath and kitchen towels, latex gloves, laundry soap and dryer sheets, paper towels, trash bags, women’s and children’s socks and underwear (new, all sizes), and women’s bras.
If unable to donate during the Wal-Mart drive, donations can be dropped off at CASDA’s main office located at 318 21st Ave. East in Superior during normal business hours Monday through Friday 8am – 4pm. Please phone ahead if dropping of a donation at the CASDA office.
CASDA provides supportive services to individuals hurt by domestic violence, sexual assault, and child abuse. For over 24 years CASDA has been the only service provider in Douglas County that provides services solely to victims of abuse. In 2011, CASDA served 535 clients and answered over 2,290 calls via its 24-hour toll-free helpline.

The Harbor City Roller Dames will be donating funds raised at their next bout to CASDA!
The Harbor City Roller Dames will have their audience falling in love at this bout as they direct the arrows of defeat at the Chippewa Valley Roller Girls. The bout entitled Cupid Scuffle promises heart pounding action on the track.
Cupid Scuffle will take place Saturday, February 11th, 2012 at South Pioneer Hall, DECC (350 Harbor Drive, Duluth, MN). Doors are at 7:00pm with roller derby action beginning at 7:30pm. Tickets are $10 plus applicable Ticketmaster fees. Tickets are available at all Ticketmaster locations and the DECC Box Office. Children 10 and under are free with paid admission. Efforts from this bout will be donated to the Center Against Sexual and Domestic Abuse (CASDA).
